1 - Where are you from?

Originally a small town in upstate NY, but now in a Chicago Western suburb.

2 - When did you start to have contact with the hobby?

38 years ago. I needed models for my D&D games, I bought some Grenadier boxed sets, some Testors enamel paints, and started painting.

3 - What kind of hobbyist are you?

The whole thing. I collect, convert, paint, and play. I read some of the novels, too. The only part I don't enjoy is cleaning up the parts (scraping lines, etc.).

4 - Which GW games have you played/ collected?

There aren't many I haven't played over the years. My first two were the styrofoam board version of Blood Bowl and 3rd ed WFB. My favorites were probably Man O War and the original Space Marine/Titan Legions Epic system.

More recently, I was super into Underworlds. I played hundreds of games of that, only stopping after they started rotating out cards.

5 - Which GW games do you play/ collect actually?

I've been in a GW lull for a bit now, but did play a bunch of Warcry, AoS, and 40K until about two years ago. Now I play more MCP, Shatterpoint, Zombicide, Massive Darkness, Arcadia Quest, Marvel United ... that sort of stuff.

Shatterpoint is really my current big jam.

6 - How many armies do you have? (Include points count if you know it!)

7 - Which one is your favourite army?

Tomb Kings for old WFB, by far.

8 - What is your favourite character?

Whichever one I make to lead my army that day.

9 - What is your favourite miniature?

A liche on a chariot. I built it out of parts from many, many other kits about 30 years ago. Love that thing.

10 - What is your favourite AoS narrative?

The raging egomaniac Nagash. It's a love/hate thing for me. I love undead and his huuuuge ego, but hate that he destroyed Nehekhara.

11 - Can you show us the miniature that you are more proud of?

12 - How did you find out about TGA?

I followed it from the old Warhammer Forum days. I was a moderator for the short lived official GW forums way back when, so I've always tried to be aware of other forums.

13 - What is your favourite TGA thread?

Hmm. I suppose I don't really think of it in those terms. I like any thread that sparks ideas.

Is there anything else you want to add?

I'm very appreciative of this hobby. I've always been artistic, but miniature painting is the only art form that has stuck with me over the decades. I'm really glad I found it. My wife loves it, too, so it's something that brings an enormous amount of happiness to my life. It never gets old.
