Countmoore
A brief overview of how a build looks would be great. Is it hero unlocks X units or vice versa. Cheers
Chikout
Any photos of new models in the book? I imagine you can't share pictures, but a thousand words would do! P.s. Thanks for the info. Edited June 26, 2016 by Chikout
rokapoke
Are there different Paths to Glory for each alliance/faction? What are the requirements for the Battleline units (I think that was the terminology) in the army building?
Ben
16 minutes ago, pforson said: How do the points work with variable unit sizes? Are the points given for min unit sizes? Edit: What is it with GW releasing books with terrible covers at the moment? The covers used to be really cool. Points structure is similar to clash/SCGT. You buy a unit of models. You can duplicate them up to a max size per unit. e.g. Judicators are 160 points for 5 Your unit size can be 5 to 20. So you pay 160 for 1-5 320 for 6-10 and so on if you only had 7 Judicators you can still field them but would pay for 6-10 The cover is awesome!!!!!! Shane
Are the Silver Tower units in it?
Ben
Army builds are similar to SCGT but you have restrictions on unit types. At 2000 points. 1-6 leaders 3+ battleline max 4 of each artillery and behemoths. Some units are only battleline if whole army is in a single faction.

Shane
Is the Verminlord Corruptor considerably cheaper than the other builds? If not, tearing apart that model to rebuild.
Somnicide
And second question(s) - on a personal note, any fear that points will kill the cool free flow feel the game has now? And any mention of points updates in the future if things turn out to be wildly off other that the aforementioned guidelines about tweaking them? And thanks!
DeadlySarcasm
Is there any information in the book about points being updated in the future?

Be interesting to see what's battle line for death of course. Follow up question - are the factions in the grand alliance books the same in the generals book? James McPherson
are any of the exclusive boxset warscroll batallions costed in there? Like Clan Pestilens 'Virulent Horde' formation?
40pluswargamer
No points for the Sivler Tower units? That's a shame and a missed trick. Excited though for the book.
Busmusen
Hi Ben! I have questions: You mentioned 3+ Battleline. After fielding 3 units of battleline am I free to spend my points on whatever troops I want? As long as I don't surpass any of the other restrictions. Example: If I field 3 units of orc boyz as my 3 battleline slots, can I then spend 500 points on Ironjawz brutes? Summoning - can you clarify? Is it SCGTish or is it "deep-strike"ish? Can you confirm the "1 spell rule" i.e one of each spell per herophase kinda thing? Edited June 26, 2016 by Busmusen
leadfoot352
Are there rules for creating your own character and/or customizing them for the purpose of a campaign? I'd love to do something narrative at my LGS and this is what I was waiting for. Also, thanks so much for this, and for showing me this forum!

Devilreefman
What's the split in the book between the 3 ways to play? Equal or more on how to play on of the 3? If so which one?
Ben
Once you have 1 leader and 3 battle line you can spend anything anywhere (so no max 50% style limits like in 8th)
Ben
Summoning. set aside xxx points at the start. Spend these on units you add during the game via summoning or similar. Flesheater courts style reinforce units is free. But can't exceed starting side. You don't need to declare your 'summoning pool' SCGT style.

Busmusen
Is allegiance % based (i.e 90% ironjawz, 10 whatever) or is it 100% pure ironjawz in order to have the benefits?
