Darth Alec
The real question is, is the art new? If it is, it may very well be legit. If the art is old, it's possibly fake.

Darth Alec
Can confirm that it is in fact on page 87 of All Gates. So it's most likely fake.

Unless it's placeholder concept art on an internal mock-up for the box it is indeed almost definitely a fake.

Zitroni
The aos app is currently listing allegiance battlepacks for Deepwood and Wurrog. Both not familiar to me. A glitch?

Nico
Those are just the names for the Sylvaneth and Savage Orc allegiances I believe.
Veterannoob
I can see the box being another mini game of AoS w/a few models for good deal.
Shane
Latest update of the app removes a lot of terrain rules. Probably will be reintroduced next week in the battletome behind a paywall.
Darth Alec
They've never done that, have they? It's not like any terrain has been reboxed. So making terrain rules payed would be very un-AoS-like. I hope they don't, even if I intend to buy the book.
Shane
Not that I know of. And no announcement saying they'd be removed. What is odd is that they haven't done that with models. So we'll see. Hopefully it's an error before the PDF scans are uploaded.
The Jabber Tzeentch
I imagine either an error or removed altogether, likely the former. They're not in the new Battletome.
WoollyMammoth
AoS App Update: Generals Handbook available in the app for 15.99. If you purchase in the app, there is a profile view in My Battle to see the points, role and unit sizes of the scrolls you have added. Allegiance traits available as individual download. So far only Sylvaneth & Bonesplitterz, but this leaves the door open for them to publish allegiance stuff for all the pre-existing factions! James McPherson
******, just purchased the black library ebook ed for £12 . argh! looking at the app it says 11.99 not 15? AdHocGames
Just gotten off the phone with my rep, not much AoS to report on but i did get some information about the new White Dwarf launching in september. As you probably all know it's going back to monthly publication BUT the release schedule is remaining a weekly one. New releases will be announced first via social media, White Dwarf itself will be looking back on the past months releases, talking about the hobby etc. The goal is to move it away from just being an advertisement, and instead a must buy for hobbyists again. I also found out what the free gift with the first issue is. Alas i cannot say, i've been sworn to secrecy. I can confirm though that it's a miniature, and it will be for AoS. If you were to look at items priced £18, you'd get a clearer idea of what to expect.

Nice! Quite curious about the free mini - I actually hope we don't find out until it arrives through the door if I'm honest, there are times where I miss that "wow" moment from finding something out in a magazine for the first time. Chikout
I wonder if that means that we will see deathwatch in August then. That would leave September free for the new duardin.

Its gotta be the AOS version of Grombrindal, the White Dwarf.
Chikout
So I broke and bought the white dwarf subscription, just based off that news from adhoc.

Chikout
Yup. A steampunk Grombindal would be amazing. I was considering the subscription anyway, but hearing that it would be an Aos mini pushed me over the edge.
Turgol
That is indeed great news but weird considered the Atia rumour that Kharn and Deatwatch were on the September issue. Although if from the very beginning it is moving to a review of the past months, it does make sense: August (and no September) would see the launch of the 40k line (Deathwatch, Kharn and chaos supplement, maybe WZ: Fenris II). If it so, then I guess September would be Tzeentch and not Duardin.
