bruh, that’s looks terrible, not going to lie.

If they end up going the other way and not showing ToW for the 40th anniversary of fantasy that is going to be the biggest feels bad.

Uh did you not see my post. Tomorrow is going to be TOW's big coming out party.

As for the new liberators, the look a lot better in the video than in the screenshots. I agree that the helmets are the weakest part. Good thing I have plenty of spares from other kits. I think the armour looks as good as the rest of the thunderstrike armour and I like the new shield design. The hammers look the same but smaller.

Yeah, i should have clarified, the helmet in that still photo is what looks real bad to me. The rest of the armor is good.

The 40k ones will be Necrons and Mechanicus as they are the next two codex up for release, pretty light releases apparently with just a few characters. AoS seems to be getting the lions share. Khorne- Sylvaneth-FEC?

I can see that being a pretty likely lineup of reveals/teases unless one video is devoted entirely to announcing Dawnbringers book 3, I could also see it being either khorne or StD for the chaos side of things.

Can't believe tomorrow will finally be the day we see the Old World properly (I believe).

I just can't wait.

3 private AoS videos eh. Honestly, it feels like anything on top of FEC is a cherry on top, just because everything so far and what we're still waiting on is some of the best models I've seen in a while. Can't imagine what other stuff is in the works right now.

OBR- like Baron said, trailing/helping Dawnbringers because secured settlements lead to cities to be tithed. if these dudes could salivate over the potential, they would.

LRL- Allumina(?) faction are heroic explorers, iirc they even do some Realm mapping? either way, there are Lumineth clans that would help. they're also involved in the Summerking narrative since it's in Hysh.

IDK- raiding coastal settlements or maybe even some full-souled Idoneth trying to find a cure for the curse. they could be forcing crusades to peel off more guards leaving the main trains less defended

Nighthaunt- admittedly these are probably the weakest, not sure about them outside Shyish.

Seraphon- another faction GW already mentioned: they are following leylines to purify them. Dawnbringers like leylines. Some skinks/slann have even directed crusades to settle near leylines so they're helping one another defend it.

DOK- it's been explicit not all of them obey Morathi, which I imagine means they're fine working with humans, and even she has reason to help: whether it be to spy on these new locations or because she hates Chaos down to her marrow, or again for the leylines.

SBGL- failed crusades means lots of bodies to reanimate. Nagash wounded means vampire lords can pull on their chains a bit, expanding territory or making new holds.

Ogors- they could help DBC or harry them. lots of meat to be had, but also lots of gold and ale. maybe some get curious about the city ogors.

Thanks!

Nice addions there, even with that do you think they are the less likely ones as I do?

i'm wondering if the helmet looks weird because this is a "female sized" head on a "male sized" body? it looks sliiiiightly too small for the rest of the body. either way, as i suspected, you can use BOTH the old or new:

"These Liberators come with new takes on the hammer and shield too, combining elements of Grungni’s handiwork – like the Smith God’s own visage – with their original Sigmar style. You’ll also be able to swap between the new and classic looks for your Liberators in both the Conquest and Multiplayer game modes from day one, thanks to a convenient loadout menu."

the helmets in motion definitely look better than that single still shot, so i'm gonna say the tabletop models will look fine.

Is it too early to not be chastised for hoping for new Seraphon models in Dawnbringers? There's a Constellation from the AoS: Soulbound RPG called Shepard's Path which are Starborne that focus on defensive structures. I would love to see either a new hero, temple guard or most wishfully a new monster.

I'm looking for SCE, Sylvaneth, Slaves and maybe Khorne tomorrow.

Oooh. I wonder if that means the look of the hexwraiths in game will be the new models? 🤔

It's not too far off from the originals but they do have differences.

I also wonder if those two leaked commerative models from warhammer fest (sce & Kruleboyz killaboss) will coincide with the release of this game.

I NEED that killaboss, Geedubs!!!

I’d say the OBR could show up, but not because they’re interested in the crusade- They’re probably a recon force searching for Ushoran who is probably the third biggest enemy to Nagash after Sigmar and Archaon. This task would require absolute loyalty, and AFAIK they’re the most resistant to The Delusion, so the task would probably fall to them.

"The Warhammer Design Studio provided the developers at Frontier with the designs for the new Liberators, which they’ve faithfully recreated for the video game."

So uh... new Liberators confirmed?

What I find odd is that they let them leak us the models with 8-9 months until the box is released!

We will see tomorrow...

Would they not be saving those for 4th edition? It seems odd to debut new liberator models now when we know the new edition's launch box will feature Stormcast.

We saw jump pack primaris in the first space marine trailer months before they were revealed for 10th edition.

I'd be very surprised if the new Dawnbringers models for Stormcast were the faction's core troops.

We have a line of product that must go away as soon as possible, and two characters that are included inside have a big role on this campaign

There's no reason they can't drop new liberators now as a teaser for 4th edition. Thunderstruck armor is a known quantity and there's a ton of other things that could go into the starter box.

Not sure what you mean by the first comment, but I could see a thunderstrike Gardus as a Dawnbringer release.
