That is very true about the 3+/3+, hadn't spotted that. I think they had a 3+ save anyway though.

Only 5 bloodtithe options. What a flavor fail. Plus BoK only gets 1 faction ability and lost demonic protection from shooting so that's fun.

Did they forget to include the warscroll for the hexgorger skulls or is khornes prayer preview really "and you can summon invocations ooooooohhhhhhh"

Bloodthirster looks good

Bloodletters having the clanrat ability feels weird but at least it makes sense with the lore.

Karanak let's flesh hounds (including himself) ignore the beast rule so why even put beast in his keywords?

Blood warriors only don't seem nerfed because they're always bad. Nice to know selling your soul to the God of war makes you a worse fighter (chaos warrior 3+/3+)

Chaos Undivided has better stats in melee than the devotees of the Chaos God of Murder who are mainlining Chaos Steroids. Darkoath Marauders, regular people with minor Chaos buffs have the same statline besides Attacks as a Blood Warrior wielding a Goreaxe when they should probably have a 4/4/1/1 which is better than average Human statline and Chaos Warriors should be roughly equivalent to Blood Warriors.

The Daemons at least now have in-built ward saves which is better than the old rule protecting from Shooting. 

The Bloodletter rule likely replaces the banner and the other traits and rules that could bring them back. 

Blood warriors have more attacks than Chaos Warriors. Besides we're comparing against a Spearhead warscroll. But yeah should be a 3+ really. 

Hatred of Sorcery is a loss. Wonder if that'll come back as a rule or a formation ability in the full pack. They're largely the more flavourful Blood tithe abilities anyway IMHO.

TBF they also have rend over the Darkoath Marauders, but take the point. 

v Chaos Warriors, we are comparing to a spearhead warscroll, but given Knights have a 3+ then stands to reason that warriors will as well. S2D does look strong from what we've seen.

Even if Eshin and pestilence are being shafted this wace it still reminind that they're still around and get their time soon

Also just notice the clawlord has horns bursting out head it not a helm or anything

I quite like this the BoK focus, I do think the Blood warriors should have a 3+/3+ in the same way as Chaos Warriors. Chaos Warriors with the Mark of Khorne (without knowing the points) are better than Blood Warriors. Which is a bit conflicting.

These are painting techniques only the ´Eavy Metal team can do, because any painter on their own would go nuts if they had to, on their own, paint 40 clanrats to promotional material levels of painting. 

No wonder they kept it to 4-5 clanrats per painter. It would have been so tedious if they made a poor chap chain paint all 40 to studio level.

Yeah, it's really impressive they had a team of 8 painters work on the 40 clan-rats, and they all look so consistent as a range. There's no obvious dips in quality or differences in style.

At Mantic we used to take multiple photos of the same miniatures in different places and stitch them together in Photoshop 🥲

8 professionals for 40 clanrats. That's some serious dedication. It's worldclass painting, but pure madness for a regular hobbyiest to achieve that level with a horde army :D

They all started wearing armour and became Ironjawz/They all found religion and became the marked beastmen in the Tzeentch and Slaanesh lists?

Yeah, this feels hella wrong. If they wanna depict Khornates as raging who can‘t fight well, then they need to up their dmg or something in return. Khorne Lords have always been tremendous fighters, so the basic warriors that follow this path should be capable - at least on the level of vanilla CWs - as well. 
 

And the Curseling too. That‘s the one proper human fighter we have in DoT and he‘s on 4+/4+
