Could be cool, but SCE already has lots of units. Than I would rather see Dragon Ogres becoming their own army, which also seems very unlikely. Imo the StD armylist is also full. I fear that Dragon ogres are (temporarly) gone from AoS ruleswise.

I tried to convince them to go with 4th after we all disliked 3rd but not having access to CWs etc. is such a huge fail for me personally that 4th would be instantly dead to me. GW really needs to give us our own warriors and no, Tzaangors (despite me loving em) aren‘t enough. I want armored humans! 😎

Ejecutor
2 hours ago, Asbestress said: I was just watching the flip-through of the new Core Book, and something from the Cities section caught my eye (and got me too excited/hopeful again): There is no mention of Ironweld anywhere in on the 2 pages Cities got. I'm 100% biased here, but I'm thinking this means Dispossessed will be where we get heavy infantry (instead of a unit of Arch-Knights) and the cogfort, and they'll probably shift from "regular dwarf warriors" to "regular dwarf engineers" (lower tech than Kharadron, less refined medieval/renaissance steampunk vs almost sci-fi airships). And they finally have an official, written down reason to go on Dawnbringer Crusades, with them building the strongpoints when they reach their destination (probably in the Dawnbringers books already but I still don't have them ) Privateers and Darkling get the usual mention of making up the fleets of the cities (I don't think Darkling were ever mentioned as being part of the fleets before), so I still stand by my theory that if aelves stay in cities they'll be nautically themed. In the end, in the DB we have dawis and even in the short story they are engineers/ miners.

To hell with it, they’re now Bonereapers units. But only the Shaggoths. The small ones have joined the Kharadron. 1

All Ironweld units cut, Ironweld Great Cannon keeps the name but gains Freeguild Keyword, all Fantasy dwarfs removed. Luminark/Hurricanum stays. Dark Elves stay until Malerion and get refreshed after that with a more unique nautical aesthetic (Dispossessed = Kharadron Lite, Cities Aelves = Idoneth Lite?). Let the Hurricanum go. We already have 3, 5 (Hammers (in 3th edition they have 2 attacks, 3+/3+ rend -2 and 2 damage) That's pretty elite), and 6 is basically a runelord. I can't imagine that they would drop the dispossessed from CoS in favour of TOW and than add a simular replacement for AoS. So I don't think this will happen. Instead of 2, I would prefer a duardin hero mounted on something big or what I would like even more is an Aelf on some dragonlike creature (replacement for the Dreadlord on Black dragon). Also 4 and 5 would fill the same role, so one is unnecessary. I would also prefer to see something that could replace the Dark Riders. Anyway my wishlist. An Aelf on a dragon as replacement for the Black Dragon. I would love to finally have a proper rider for a dragon in AoS and that's an Elf/Aelf. Instead of duardin heavy infantry, I would like to see somekind of duardin ranger-like unit and a mounted duardin unit. Either chariots or somekind of heavy cav that is slower than the Cavaliers, but even more tanky. Heavly armoured duardin cavalry mounted on bears or big AoSlike goats. Human or aelf fast cav to replace the Dark Riders or duardin on agile mountain goats would also do 😄. More specialist wizards like the warforger. After the latest release of CoS I would loved a religious/fanatic second wave, but after seeing that Underworlds warband.. preferable not.
