I like UW for the creativity it brings, but we stopped playing it after season 2, we still bought the occasional warband for painting or for our AoS armies. Personally, I wouldn't mind if UW was dropped, but instead of UW we would get more sets like Blacktalons, Saviors of Cinderfall and Brands Oathbound , but for all grand alliances/armies. It's was early enough that they didn't have the Gloomspite name yet. I do like the new sets but the price disparity is massive. An underworlds warband costs £27.50. I don't think there is any Warband that got turned into a new army afterwards but then again there haven't really been many Warbands that don't clearly belong to exiting factions. We have some Chaos Marauder ones before the got their big release but they still existed before in S2D even if not in the current extent. Other than that I can only think of Skaeth’s Wild Hunt so Kurnothi that could even turn into a completely new army. But we did get a few new units teased with Underworlds Warbands before they got released. For example Rippa's Snarlfangs into snarlfang riders, Morgok's Krushasa into Brute Ragerz/Weirdbrute Wrekkaz or Gorechosen of Dromm into the Realmgore Ritualist. Theres also that one model from Kainan's Reapers that will probably turn into a Mortek Archers unit for Ossiarch Bonereapers. 1 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
