Satyrical Sophist
43 minutes ago, Ejecutor said: Yeah, it is a bit of a weird situation. It would be nice to have news one way or another, but Duardins being removed from sale, and not coming back with a new edition box doesn't look very promising for them. Also, how long can be an army with a third of its roster unavailable? CoS has to come sooner rather than later to get that sorted. I think this is a case where the replacement/ removal has been delayed but not the retirement from the store due to ToW. All of the cities duarden are available in old world boxes, so in terms of the playability of the faction, its better than usual. Normally something is out of stock for awhile, took me a bit to get the drakespawn knights I was after. Right now its dragons, hydras, dark riders and wildercorps. If they would come with round bases as well I would buy that argument... but they don't. In fact, with Duardins out of the store (with round bases/ AoS boxes) and the very likely removal of more stuff when Empire launches for ToW, my beat is Summer/ Autumn 2025 for CoS BT as late. With High elves probably in the Late Winter that quite a wait for TOW but I guess that just the norm. I would speculate late-spring to Mid-summer if we go by previous edition how they gave three major updates in the summer currently 40k only had three major updates of 10th edition so far but wheather that even relates to how AOS is doing thing is iffy especially with this weird 4 month hiatus Edited September 10 by Dragon-knight77

Morglum StormBasha
If Gitmob are cavalry only then it might be as simple as wolf chariot wolf lord if the wolf chariot was like the big pig then it could easily have a 3 build lord/shaman/normal option or maybe a melee option and a ranged artillery option like the dark elf chariot you wouldn’t need much more than that to make it a mini faction like darkoath

Morglum StormBasha
You could quite easily put the doomdiver as one of the build options of the chariot kit like a Hanglider being pulled by a boat

zamerion
I Hope for infantry too. Maybe gw dont update basic moonclans grots, and they realease gitmobs. I cant imagine a army box, without infantry, and using the already released wolves. Edited September 10 by zamerion

Why would they do that? I mean than they basically update the whole O&G army in TOW with AoS budget? I am all in for a plastic doom diver, snotlings, a new wolf chariot, new basic goblins and etc.. Maybe throw in a plastic bolt throwa too 😄

Gloomspite lacks of heavy cavalry and heavy speed heroes after all the squigs become light units, and of course, a support artillery unit. I mean, design Team is trying to avoid units with the same role, and if we take 40k Index as glimmerings, then the roles will not change with the book, so I don't see a role for a new infantry unit if the Armybox is full Gitmob. I really doubt that the Armybox contains an old kit.
