I did a conversion awhile back where in I put the new skelies torsos on the tops of black knights and even went as far as to file down the legs and add the current skelly legs to give the models more depth. It was (k)night and day difference though and they looked amazing imo. Sadly I sold them off before finishing but was really happy with the conversion. I do hope that if a new kit is made we would get a mounted ranged option as well. The models look in keeping with the PJ style and not too over the top like some people were worried about. The Dunlendings look really good, and hopefully we get some elite infantry to go with them. Was hoping for this too. Another thing I was thinking of is if it is something to do with Warcry. Absolutely, The Lotr pull had bern big since the new Season of ROP (A Dwarf and Elf army has really been calling me). The Fall of Arnor was not what I was expecting and Given we got Plastic Elrond I was really thinking we would get a Last Alliance Campaign by now with new Elendil, Gil Galad and Finally a New update to Sauron (ForgeWorld Resin or Plastic. One of my major concerns with LOTR is that the minis that form the bulk of your collection are plastics from the 00s.
