  1. Might be situations where they are the only things in range/hurt for torment heals *shrug* Also; does anyone have access to the planar relics? I was thinking of trying to stack bravery debuffs in a list
  2. Beleive you can still rez them with a STorment though
  3. Yeah I was thinking with shackles and Queenie you could do a pretty effective flanking force, try to practically root their Vanguard or flank and come at them from the other side... If all else fails she is a nice Tomb Banshee substitute and the rasps can just be rank and file. I was hoping for a Terrorgeist boosted banshee scream on something in the nighthaunt release, like a mourngul variant or special character... or even a regular 2d6 banshee scream with reroll but no avail!
  4. Wondering if you can shackle high-move units then use their reduced speed to vortex them again, or if it would use their original speed
  5. Good points. Also since her vortex is an aoe she can have a use in larger games too if you plonk it down in the center of a phalanx. Question; would either her ability or shackles work on a unit's already reduced speed? Say your shackes snare a 12" move unit, bringing it down to 6"...would her spell then roll according to the reduced speed to bring it to 3? Or be rolling against the original 12?
  6. In essence you get her and 6 Chainwrasps for 10 less points than a tomb banshee and 10 chainwrasps. I'm not sure what to think. The rending scream isnt bad, but has a much lower damage threshold over a Tomb Banshee, and her spell seems like it will only work reliably half the time, and yet more overpriced chainwrasp fodder that you cant max unit size... Something here Im not seeing?
  7. *palpatine voice* GooOoooOoood Hmm. I was thinking of grabbing the set and just use her as a Tomb Banshee but now Im wondering if her spell stacks with Soulsnare shackles
  8. A few pages back some folks were claiming it didnt take a cmnd point
  9. Usually the best method of dealing with OP stuff is to either ignore it or bog it down with cannon fodder Also; a while back people were saying Spectral Summons was a Command Trait and hence didnt use a command point... its a Nighthaunt Battle Trait but the entry is still listed as a "Command Ability" would that not still cost a point?
  10. Perhaps have the Coach itself charging support heroes as its accompaning Hexwraiths plow into the flank? Or give it the soulreach grasp and take pot shots at people as it speeds by? The main use I saw for it was a support for a large fast flanking force, trying to overpower each unit you run into in 1 round
  11. He just regains 1 wound per Hero killed.
  12. The black coach is probably one of the best entries in our book, and benefits from all of our army-buffs. I dont have my LoN book in front of me so Im not sure how much the CT costs pointwise or how much it would perform alongside our ghosts
  13. @Overread Oh I wasn't complaining about the sculpt; these minis are incredible! It wss meant more as a warning to fellow necros that they might need to stabilize Reikenor
  14. Holy cr@p, Reikenor's entire body and scythe are only connected to the model via his one wrist holding the reigns to his steed. Ended up cutting some wraith-cloak bits off my glavewraiths from the starter set (which will never see the light of day) to make some additional stabilizer cloak strips connecting his body to the horse. No way his wrist was going to survive transport and table play, maybe not even painting
  15. @Nevar You could also try to work in a Black Coach, great synergy with what you have going
  16. So it does. Damnit. (At work so didnt have the book to check these things) All things considered if the *trait* takes no command point I would give it the edge in certain situations as I usually find myself starved for command points
  17. Ooh... so theres nothing that says Olynder HAS to be your general when taken; so pump out her ressurection AoE while simultaeneously using RotSH to bring back hordes of Hosts/Hexes!
  18. RotSH's is a command ability, and thus requires a command point. All command abilities do now. Unless I've been horribly mislead...
  19. I initially wanted to depict then as ghost-painted black knights but felt that the scythes would better match cairn/grimghast/Reikenor aesthetic
  20. I agree about the battalion, if their shreik wasnt restricted to bravery 6, and the harridan models werent so wacktacular I would probably go for it.
  21. He can help in a pinch, and is fast enough to zoom around picking off support heroes while zapping ppl with his spell but yeah if he gets caught hes going down
  22. Swapped his scythe for a nightmare lantern eh? Not bad at all
