I did think abotu september, but if the reveal is on august, isn't september too close? It's just less than 30 days for preparing all the orders.

We have the box on the 13th of July. The contest votes start on the 15th of July until the 5th of August. Then we will have a preview, and another one at the end of August (Nova Open). By that time we would have seen both ranges. Make your bet with that info. I would say Sept/ Oct.

Does it mean my theory could be right about they removed BoC to let a free spot on another army with buff references (chorf) ?

I don't think so. We had many bull related content between different armies. I think it is more related to the launch of ToW and giving them enough core armies without spetting in the AoS planning for the next editions/ releases.

Imagine if Sigmar tried to make amends for his past aggression by saving the Dragon Ogres from Chaos and reforging them as Sigmarite Draconith Ogres.

More Dragon iterations for Stormcasts? Is that even possible?

Whitefang Jr. did mention the cogfort, and now with it being tied to dwarfs (and them disappearing into TOW), I wouldn't think their time is too far away.

    ****** it, here comes CoS wishlist 5.0;

      Hide contents
    1. Dispossessed Cogfort
    2. Dispossessed Steam-Walker (Steam Tank replacement in terms of size)*
    3. Dispossessed Heavy Infantry
    4. Dispossessed Engineer
    5. Devoted Priest
    6. Devoted Flagellants
    7. Devoted Fanatics
    8. Freeguild Marshal on Big Mount
    9. Freeguild Bombardier-Major
    10. Collegiate Fire Mage
    11. Collegiate Life Mage

    BONUS: Terrain and Endless Spells

*: I really want new Gyrocraft as a reference to Khazalid flying machines that were the precursor to Kharadron vehicles, but I'm not sure if GW want to have flying dwarfs in two factions.

All Ironweld units cut, Ironweld Great Cannon keeps the name but gains Freeguild Keyword, all Fantasy dwarfs removed. Luminark/Hurricanum stays.

Dark Elves stay until Malerion and get refreshed after that with a more unique nautical aesthetic (Dispossessed = Kharadron Lite, Cities Aelves = Idoneth Lite?).

    Let the Hurricanum go.

I was just watching the flip-through of the new Core Book, and something from the Cities section caught my eye (and got me too excited/hopeful again):

There is no mention of Ironweld anywhere in on the 2 pages Cities got. I'm 100% biased here, but I'm thinking this means Dispossessed will be where we get heavy infantry (instead of a unit of Arch-Knights) and the cogfort, and they'll probably shift from "regular dwarf warriors" to "regular dwarf engineers" (lower tech than Kharadron, less refined medieval/renaissance steampunk vs almost sci-fi airships).
And they finally have an official, written down reason to go on Dawnbringer Crusades, with them building the strongpoints when they reach their destination (probably in the Dawnbringers books already but I still don't have them :D)

Privateers and Darkling get the usual mention of making up the fleets of the cities (I don't think Darkling were ever mentioned as being part of the fleets before), so I still stand by my theory that if aelves stay in cities they'll be nautically themed.

In the end, in the DB we have dawis and even in the short story they are engineers/ miners.

Excited, you mean? Out of all the factions I am most looking forward to seeing what they do with Cities. I think it is pretty clear that we will see the remaining Duardin kits move to ToW. Rumours point to potential Fannatics/Cogfort? Will the Dispossessed remain a part of Cities?

I agree with worried rather than excited. If we see multiracial kits for CoS won't be this edition, I would say. So worried because it will take years until we see them back, if we see them back.

I stopped short of endorsing the Darkoath book before, but now I'm close to finishing it, I would wholeheartedly recommend it. Especially to anyone who enjoyed Godeaters Son or Scourge of Fate.

GW has done a sterling job recently of putting out books that offer a human face to chaos tribes. So much so, they're starting to feel like the protagonists, at least to me.

Characters are well-rounded, full of flaws, vulnerabilities but also redeeming qualities. Thoroughly enjoyable read.

In terms of numbers they are the protagonists indeed. They outnumber order by far.

I think Rob mentioned it in his youtube vid. Atleast I thought I heard something about it. But not sure, my brain is overloaded with the AoS info :D.

Although I do think @Beliman interpretation is correct.

    Which reviews?

Is AoS 4 what I hoped that it would be. No. i.e they actual made customization even less compared with 3th. The opposite what I hoped for, but I do think our small group will have enjoyable evenings with it.

Overall all the reviews I've seen are positive.

    I ****** love it this

It a steam tank crew consisting of a Grizzle veteran, a turret rookie & duardin cogsmith do a Saving Private Ryan to save a human gyrocopter pilot that has info on the Skaven invasion. It is as awesome as it sounds the gunfight, the pre-existing setting utilized very well, the character very charming as it balance the action with some character moment here and there.

Like if this by grace sigmar get to be a novel i would by it

This on one hand make me feel kinda bad that eventually the steam tank and Gyrocopter are going away but it does raise my spirit and optimism what might the Ironweld wave has in store to replace it. I posted before Cogfort come in many variants so a small faster wheel version oppose to the big spider borderwalker would be sweet

Steam Tank - Age of Sigmar - Lexicanum

It cannot be kept in its current state, it is too imperial. But it is a pretty loved mini. We will get a new iteration for sure.

That image makes me think that something similar would be a good layout for a faction-based section of the Website. It really would be something if GW had a portal like this and when 'Read More' was clicked it took you to a digital Store/Battletome page for that faction, thematically laid out with a model's lore, rules, battle scroll, art, painting, building and purchase options all available in a single integrated digital hub. Each Faction hub would receive a small monthly update, with new lore, a new bit of artwork, a new unit or character or a novel release.

I'm not really a fan of GW's current approach of having a billion different websites for each of their settings, that launch with a big splash and then are left to wither and die until a replacement arrives.

They currently have something similar in spirit, but not in the visual side:

Note- Beastmen died on their way back to their home planet

They get some sort of ship, like Seraphons, and time travel to the old world. That way we can explain why they leave and how they appeared in the old world.

    Pay me GW. Job done.

The problem is a chaos warrior dedicated to khorne is better at fighting than a blood warrior who's entirely dedicated to khorne. Points aside that doesn't make sense.

It's fine. Maybe Beasts of Chaos aligned to Khorne make better proxies for StD anyway. I liked running them Blades of Khorne for flavor but with only one faction rule the flavor is somewhat lacking anyway.

Rules and lore cannot always be accurate.

The new edition of Warhammer Age of Sigmar is almost with us, and the massive launch box is available for pre-order in just over a week. Skaventide pits the Stormcast Eternals of the Hallowed Knights Stormhost against the vile Skaven. Among the Stormcast Eternals are members of the Ruination Chamber – veterans of many deaths who are on the cusp of losing themselves entirely.

Do you think that in X years SCE could have a new bit of lore where Ruination just have a massive spike in deaths and/ have lost many members over time and they just remove stuff from the roster like the Prosecutors and replace it with something new?
