With the number of vampires on foot we had wouldn't surprise me if they are the AoS Liutenants equivalent. It is even in its name.- 2

The rumours about Mummies came with other now debunked stuff (plastic Chariot with Tomb King, instead of the dragon).
The speculation about Mummies was (in part) because of the Flail previewed, similar to the one old Mummy model, which we now know is an option in the Bone Dragon kit.
There could still be a plastic Mummies unit (even though that's kind of what Tomb Guard are supposed to be). The general desire I see for Mummies is that they would be bigger than Tomb Guard, but I think I'd prefer plastic Ushabti in that case. (I don't think there will be plastic Ushabti, I'm just saying that I'd prefer them.)

The weapons preview does still have some mystery to it. Mostly all the bugs (which don't seem to be a part of the Bone Dragon kit), but also the Khopesh and... Halberd. I had previously pointed out that they share a wrist connection (in the same way that the Spear and Flail share one, which turned out to be for the same Tomb King arm).
I guess the Tomb King could have a second right arm (in a more natural pose) that these are for, but that still leaves all the bugs unaccounted for.
I agree the mummies rumour comes partially from the flail, but there's also a big point that is valid still. Knights on foot were an old retired unit. Mummies is the equivalent to that for TK.

Right at the end of the article:
Possibly a TK mini reveal?
Maybe the boxing day mini? I would say that would be either 40k and/or AoS.

This vampire is what i wanted new DoK models to look like. Great looking model.
Indeed. I initially thought it was Morai Heg.

I find it weird. The only use I find for this is a kitbash base for TK.

The GW box builds both kits, on two sprues (according to the website photos), but you need both sprues to build each kit - so both #43 and #49 can each build five of which ever type of Revenant you want, is my understanding? I may be completely wrong though, anyone more knowledgeable able to confirm? Thanks
Yeah. It is the same than the premium kit on Mortal Realms. You can build them both.

Correct, but they did reveal most of the Bret line via designated previews, so I would presume they won't just reveal the TKs in a warcom article. They intend on building the hype and dragging the reveals to the maximum stretching point so I think they will actually use a preview slot for these.
Just to be clear, not that I would mind if we get a warcom article with the reveals.I think it would be either articles for the minis and preview for the boxes or both in the preview, but I think is more likely the first scenario.

So guys are we thinking the rest of the TK line of new models will get revealed at the LVO or sometime in between now and the supposed release date? I am thinking if the release is indeed at the beginning of February isn't it a bit late to reveal the minis at the LVO and expect to generate hype in just a week or so? On the other hand I am not thinking GW will have another preview in the meantime.. Opinions?
My response is on the TOW thread to keep this clean:

Wasn't Kragnos the last of his kind? Reason for his rage
Dawnbringers hints there's survivors, but Krules got that info and they hide it from Kragnos. The big boy is looking for em.

Imo there's not much to show. Maybe 2 heroes and the mummies unit, so they can show them via warhammer community.

A month, It's on my wishlist, but I will wait for atleast 75%. It's still 35,99 euro after the 40%, which is still high compared with the games I buy on steam. I hope BG3 will get a good christmas discount, but it seems not.
I got it for 51,19 € before the launch for the ultimate ed from a key shop. With the current 45% it is at 41,24 €. Imo a 75 % would take time.

Currently 40% off on Steam for the standard edition, or 45% for the Ultimate Edition.
Wow. Quite agrresive discounts for a recently released game.

Interesting tidbit about the Fec release. The Morbheg knights were designed by David Waeselynck while he was working from home during lockdown. That's more than 3 years between design and release. It makes you wonder what they're working on now.
Where did you ge this info from? It is super interesting. If that's the case imo they already have sculpted everything we ask for. Refresh for Skaven, Beasts, Ogors... second waves... and they should be finishing 5th ed launch box and prepping for the 5th ed content. That includes that they have at least 1 or 2 new armies ready.

From the updated Sunday Preview,
They've not shown off the now obligatory Boxing Day In-Store Mini yet I think, so I assume it'll be that.
The last year one was the FEC Ghoul King, right? It was quite a random release, so I cannot imagine what it could be. My wild guess is a S2D chieftain or something on those lines.

Belthanos was awesome, but actually not all that Kurnothi (considering they are his herald or whatever), basically a stick man on a giant bug.
Is the other way around. We have distorsioned what a Kurnothi is.
Belthanis is the peak of kurnothi in its more pure term. It is literally Kurnoth's avatar, but he doesn't match the aesthetic of those gifted by Kurnoth.- 7

Any chance of the City Vanguard being revealed today?
Are we expecting an IJ one first? Maybe both released at the same time?

Pretty sure that there isn't a 2d Kharadron wave the next three months but what about some non-warband/underworlds new boxes for kruleboyz?
I don't think we would receive anything else until 4th appart from FEC, Dawnbringers and whatever happens at the end of the ed (new army or something else). Would be possible that the 'something else' would be more Krule? I doubt it. They received a big chunk of love in just 1 ed.

If the new Dawnbringers book and The Old World are to be released in January, one will be announced tonight for preorder on the 30th Dec and release on the 20th January as there is a 3 week preorder time over the Christmas and New Year period.
I'm so hoping The Old World is announced properly.
I was thinking the same.
Sunday Preview – Kill Team: Salvation Stalks Into View - Warhammer Community (warhammer-community.com)
Last week they announced "future" preorders, so maybe this week we have nothing?
