So, Kurnothi/Sylvaneth + Khorne + StD. How many armies does this bring us to?

I find myself a little confused by Whitefang's likes. I understand that Kurnothi is essentially just a religion so any kind of Sylvaneth can be Kurnothi. I perfectly happy for a new Kurnothi subfaction to include Kurnoth Hunters and other existing minis but what does that mean for new minis? These previews almost never talk about rules so there is definitely at least one new mini on the way.
Does this mean that new Kurnothi will have nothing that sets them apart aesthetically?
Right now there are three varieties of Sylvaneth. Tree people (Treemen, Kurnoth Hunters, Dryads etc), Tree/Aelf hybrids (Alarielle, tree revenants, gossamid archers etc), and outcasts (Drycha and spite revenants). I was hoping we would see the new Kurnothi minis add a fourth aesthetic that tiptoes the range back towards its wood elf origins.
Even if they don't do that, I hope whatever comes for Kurnothi does do something interesting with the aesthetics of the range.
Based on the Book 2 lore I would expect something from the Tree/Aelf group that you mentioned. I think Kurnoth/ Kurnothi have the same problem that Valkya lately. Too much mentions leading to expectations that won't be met.

So no kurnothi, no slaves lady?
Slaves/ chaos lady is kinda confirmed, and silvaneths by the look of the 3 days left image.

You need to liberate your mind of the need of @Whitefangreactions hahahaha
Isn't it the solely reason of this thread?

EVERYBODY. WHITEFANG REACTED.
He liked also my comment about the new Lady of Ruin confirmation. One mini less to guess.

Does anybody recognize the symbol in the beetle? Kurnous related, I guess?
It is the same one than the Silvaneth dices have, right?

Everything will cap off on Saturday the 14th of October with the Warhammer Day Preview, which promises to reveal loads more glorious miniatures. Here’s to 40 more years of Warhammer
Can’t wait 😀
So CoS has been the last model? Curious...

As usual, I want to think big:
chaos lord on corrupted spawn of Dracothion.
Double kit, including the Lady of Ruin.
BANG.I've seen many of you whislisting double kits for heroes since this spear was showed, but it is me or GW is not launching many heroes double/triple... kits anymore? Specially taking in consideration big named heroes.

No IA. They use a translator program to make a first sheet, and then they work on.
Last dawnbrigner book had some problemstoo, like the Trucebreak settlement being called "Trucebreak" and "Breaktruce" in the same book, because in spanish we swap this kind of stuff. If it was "just" a program/IA, the whole book would have the same terminology.
Last GHB had a lot of unique words thag were not a direct translation from the english ones too.
Well, a translator program is kind of a IA in the end.

In which language? The translations I have read seemed pretty natural and they frequently even translated names non-literally, which AI translations cannot do.
In Spanish. It is a common feeling between some members of the Sigmaroteca (wiki), but I guess you can include some sort of names translation (I noticed Chat GPT added this, as I've been using it for the Dawnbringer shorts due to layziness).

If GW starts using AI I stop using GW
GW already uses AI, maybe you didn't notice it because you are english native, but their translations are clearly using AI. An example, the CoS tome includes the word bolter. How the hell you end with a bolter in CoS if it is not something automated?

Also I feel like every special occasion mini is a gal (Warhammer+, event model (ok, they can keep that ugly gal), Warhammer Underworlds warband etc.). But w/e, it‘s a personal preference, that topic was discussed here ages ago already.
I have the same feeling lately.

I love how y'all talk about Whitefang like he's some kind of cosmic entity
He is indeed. Would take over Sigmar in the 5th edition.

Nah, it is clearly FEC.
Good shout. The downside doesn't look to have the same shape, but it is pretty close indeed. -

Supposed this spear does belong to the rumored "Lady of Ruin," what kind of hero are we expecting? a new spell caster, a foot trooper, or a daemonkin/princess leading the charge from the front? Barring the model, where do you think she'll lie on the Belakor vs Archaon scale? My money says Archaon but I'm also hoping for a solo act if you catch my drift.
A Darkoath Chieftain like woman.

The problem with the weapon is the sigil. I don't remember the last time that a Khorne daemon have the eightpoints star instead the Khorne symbol
Yep. We are too focused on Valkya recently. As someone said my bet is Lady of Ruin as a StD hero.

This is pretty much what I’m expecting although I think you missed Flesh Eaters! 🤣
I think it will be a good preview and lots of cool stuff. I’m very curious about The Old World but if most of the ranges are the same, I’ll wait for a while before doing it (I was looking forwards to doing Tomb Kings if new models!). Kill Team will be cool as I want to get into that and new Striking Scorpions would be ace (if true).
Excited about the AOS stuff but as I’m working on Kruleboyz at the moment, I’m more waiting for 4th edition.
I didn't miss them! I honestly think we won't get any FEC reveals. I know it could be weird, specially with the sprue being built, but I think they would be saved for later.

I HOPE if skavens get a refresh, it gets done via AoS and not TOWBecause im tired of using resin tbh (plis make the punches painless)(yes, I know whitefang has hinted it, I returned here asking about that)(and yes, I know they aren't one of the starter factions in TOW)
Just 8-9 months before they start appering here and there. Just 8-9 months my dude.

I find weird no one did this yet! It is guessing time
40k: Codex codex everywhere. We will have a quick peek at the Mechanicus and Necrons codex and new units. 2-3 of each as max.
Kill Team: A new box fully showed. Space Marines Scouts vs Eldar Striking Scorpions.
Age of Sigmar: Dawnbringers book 3 and alll its miniatures. Callis & Toll, 1 Silvaneth hero and 1 unit multikit, Khorne hero and StD hero.
The Old World: The leaked plastic pegasus and its Tomb Kings equivalent + 2-3 resin miniatures for each faction. We could even see one outside of the two classic ones from last previews.- 8
