    What is with GW and their utter lack of ability to design things in a user friendly way?

    You have to click down which faction you support. It is not intuitive at all.

    • Runic Tattoos can be taken on Slayers and Doomseekers. They can also be Dogs of War for the Empire.
    • Bugman's Cart 'raises spirits' and Mining Cart is full of blasting charges units can throw out.
    • Miners are important to the Expeditionary Force.
    • Scout Gyrocopters (no bombs but faster) for the Expeditionary Force.
    • Royal Clan don't use black powder but get a bigger rune budget. 
    • Royal Clan Warriors, which they talk about being a minor kitbash of using the hand weapons/shields with on Hammerers.
    • They didn't go a Slayer Cult list because, like Night Goblins, it was 'too obvious' but Ungrim lets you do it (iirc one of the leaks said he makes them Core?)
     

    And the most important bit, they seem to "commit" to releasing it "all" in two months:

    You can choose either "Inside the city" for Stormcast vs Skaven or "Outside the city" for generic Order vs Chaos.

    Below this image you can choose who to support. Currently Stormcast are slightly in the lead inside the city but Chaos has a big lead outside the city

    Oh. And the outside the city bit too! And it shows live the results! That's so cool! I hope the results add some flavour to the lore.

    Not many surprises here, though the Ultimate Starter Set includes the Fire & Jade book which is a plus. I also prefer them literally calling them Starter Sets and not the various 'Command Set' names that mean nothing to a total newbie.

    I am quite disappointed... this edition is pretty low in scenery compared to the previous one... also, did they release the classic lore pamphlet only in the digital version? It seems none of the boxes includes it:

    My bet, it is not up yet. The main site had maintenance planned for today, it could be linked to this.
