They make a specific point in lore that the Kharadron are the only Duardin who trim their beards and this is seen as bizarre and unnatural by the other Duardin.

Mention in lore has been proven to not be guide enough for minis representation.

Said that, based on recent lore mentions I started to believe that new duardins could be in the making for CoS, and later on aelves.

    The dwarf situation is odd:

    • Don't announce their departure as a subfaction but will for BOC & BS
    • Give you index rules
    • Teh Rulebook mention them couple of times

it alomost bait ready to suckerpunch

as for aesthetic I would straight up drop doing Tolkien dorfs and do something along the line of Witcher dwarfs

Season of Mahakam and Update 7.4 packed with new features are here! - GWENT: The Witcher Card Game

Daily] Gwent Card Discussion #548 - Dwarven Skirmisher : r/gwent

A 15th century slavic aesthtic to them and is something that more align with the other freeguild West Europe Renaissance while being able to having it be  "grimdark"

    Mahakam!

I already have my fully painted Dispossessed forces, so I'm feeling oddly resolute. I can't be anymore locked in than I already am, after also losing BoC, Bonesplitters, and a big chunk of SC...surely it won't happen again, right? Surely.

It will. The question is if you will be able to use them as a proxy for other dispossessed or not.

Finally the dwarfs are here! Everything looks great! I wish they would do such transfersheets for AoS.

    Hopefully next week Warcry!

I don't follow all the armies that close, but CoS got a decent sheet. Are they an exception?

I know it's justifiable to have a NoAoS preview due to the previous No40k but it still feels a little bad due to AoS being behind 40k in terms of popularity and releases.

We will have our very own one in less than a month...

I've no real horse in the race since I didn't pickup Skaventide (I collect neither army) but if I was going to I'd vote Stormcast simply because the internet is in love with the Skaven and I'm legally obliged to be contrarian.

But you can also put the results of battles, so you can "vote" whichever faction you want.

    Orkz

sadly only got the general overview of thier lore; the subculture from Ironjawz and Kruleboyz, they're desire to fight, Gork & Mork, them in the era of the beast. The Hour of Ruin is like bearly even mention in the section with only mention once and it the Kruleboyz perfecting their ruses cause "they cannot be outdone by mere Skaven" that it

only thing really to note is that there apparently different effects the Waaag! magic have on the different Ork type. When the Waaag! is coursing through an ork mind and soul

    • Ironjazw get a single minded urge to hunt and beat their foe
    • Bonesplitterz (yes the only mention it one more the beastmen) get affinity of sorcerery
    • Kruleboyz get their mind shardened with cunning ideas

    Gloomspite

This one is interesting because they're mentioning all the cultures; Moonclan, Gitmob, Spiderfang & Troggothherd

    • Hour of Ruin has cause massive problem for the Gloomspite as skaven are flooding the lurklairs despite their attempt to make it inhospitable.
    • There mention of different breeds of arachnids the spider rides to war along with the Arachnarok
    • Gitmobs are said to be proficient in fighting in rolling plains as well as the lurklairs because of their snarfangs
    • Troll are known for their rock-hard skin & stupidity

Uhhh. Interesting the Gitmob mention. I think between this and the RE we will see a solid Gitmob wave.

    Seems reasonable.

Really hope the entire show isn't just 4 40k kits and a Kill Team box though.
Probably too early for TOW and Warcry news since those aren't even out yet, but something for Underworlds would be nice. Or more Necromunda Malstrain stuff. I'd even take Bloodbowl.

As it is a #NonAoS preview, and based on the #No40k preview, I think we will see everything apart from AoS.

Valrak is said he expecting today that their going to announce a preview show for next week

not  AOS related so i put on spoilers for what he saying about the 40k rumor section as some of it does have some AOS implications

      Hide contents
    • They're going to show off the new Kill-team season call Hivestorm it going to be Vespid Stingwing vs Imperial Tempestus Scions & new terrain
    • Agents of Imperium the three boxes---->Deathwatch being squatted maybe roll into the xeno inquisition maybe
    • Agents of imperium is going to have three boxes for each ordo: Heritcus, Malleus & Xeno with a new Inquisitor Torquemada Coteaz and there is an unreliable rumor that comes with new assassins
    • The Demon of Chaos codex is getting squatted as their going to go down the AOS route of each chaos faction having their demon with their marines

Don't remember where but some on confirm that today is the TOW dwarfs

    @Elarin confirmed it, yeah.

    Mortek Archers

    3 Man Heavy Cavalry

    Soulspitter Ballistae

    Actual skirmishers

    Necrotitans

    Chalcadons

    Expansion of the Thorac caste

    More specialist constructs

Whatever the Mortek Liege is (Liege-Hekatos, I think)

    Liege-Immortis, Aviarch Spymasters, Mortisan Executioners.

There’s still plenty of stuff you can do with them.

We are always saying the same. This X army is complete. We cannot add anything else to it, and it is always the opposite. We can expand any army in whichever way we want. Even SCE.

  11. I would like to know what TGA will vote for in the upcoming Slaughter at Hel Crown.

    But that's not all:

The Dawnbringers In-store Crusade Has Finished – Find Out the Results Within - Warhammer Community (warhammer-community.com)

    Quote

While the ratmen and the warriors of Sigmar battle for control of the city interior, other factions will fight to seize power in the area around Hel Crown. In addition to the results from your Skaventide boxed set, you will be able to enter battle results between all other factions at the same website, shaping the outcome of the wider struggle.

Which army are you going to support with the outcome of your battles?

I figure Nagash’s return will mean the next plotline for Death would be a Mortarch Civil War with the loyalists (Arkhan, Katakros, and either Neferata or Olynder) facing the rebels (Ushoran, Mannfred, whoever wasn’t the loyalist choice) after Nagash expends a massive amount of power kicking the absolute hell out of the Skaven and is back to pre-Necroquake levels of strength which in the most interesting case would require him to swallow his pride and have Arkhan negotiate a temporary ceasefire with Sigmar because both sides really don’t need the extra fronts at this point (Nagash so he can try and get the 3 rebels back under control, Sigmar’s lot because they just got pummeled by the Vermindoom)

Naturally, Order spends the edition recovering from the Vermindoom, Chaos’ Civil War goes hot and Belakor splits Archaon’s power base, and Destruction sees the rising of a new Ogor kingdom in the power vacuum following the Vermindoom.

Alternatively Nagash has cooked up some completely insane scheme everyone else has to stop and we’ll get more of him once he returns because he’s a fun character.

    Where do I sign?

My guess is in the 2nd-halfish of the edition (basically when we start getting narrative supplements), Death will take the fight to the Skaven and chaos in general, maybe we will see some movement against the Varanspire again too. This will culminate in the edition's version of Broken Realms with Nagash's full return and him defeating the Vermindoom (and rumours abound of reinforced OBR legions which we will see as 5th ed starters). After which he promptly becomes public enemy number 1 in 5th as he obviously wasn't doing it for the benefit of the Realms.

That's my thoughts on where the narrative is going this edition with Death anyway!

I think this edition narrative supplements will be more frequent, if we base ourselves on 40k.

    Chaos Dwarfs!

I expect something better crafted from the Hammers of Hashut. Unless Hashut means that they are sneezing all the time while forging weapons. That would explain the poor manufacture of the blade.

Interesting. I would have expected Death to be waiting for 5th, since we've looped back to Chaos for the start of 4th.

I know I'm speculating three years ahead of time but my money is on Soulblight Gravelords being the 'antagonist' half - probably with new Grave Guard if they don't see a second wave this edition.

It would be pretty weird if this RE is not Grave Guard or we have to wait 3 years for it to get resolved.

My bet is a new faction, particularly looking at Malerion, but even if it is not him a new one whichever grand alliance it is in the box.
