A number of other things gone to legends as well: assorted daemonic herald options, Valkia, Scylla, the Blue Scribes, loonbosses with great squigs, the aleguzzler gargant for Gloomspite (that’s a surprise)…

Even with some of the minis from that list being already mentioned by GW, the list was bigger than what they said in the end...

They decided to remove the "W40k chains" and it is a game plenty of new stuff. They take the best decision for the game.

But even without those "chains", the art direction could have been maintained, but it is looking pretty solid so far.

Don't expect AoS reveals before the Skaventide contest stream. It's definitely Necromunda or BB today.

Besides I am tired of this "GW, ignore everyone else but me" attitude.

Who said AoS? I see it easily being 40k today.

YEAH ! And I'm also ready for a tons of rules and the BATTLE PROFILE (points and regiment attributions) !!

    EDIT : From WarCom :

    • Rules and Terrain: Comprising the Core Rules, Advanced Rules, Spearhead Rules, Terrain Rules, and Glossary
    • Spearhead reference
    • Battle Profiles and rules updates
    • Age of Sigmar Quickstart Guide

True, hehehe. I am more of a minis and lore guy than a rules guy. I just hope it is not Necromunda again 😅

I don't think the pre order is too long, 2 weeks is perfect for a new edition. They just revealed the other stuff waaaay too early

Edit: Except Briar and Bone, that should have been out already for sure. It's been 4 months and we already have all the rules to play them in AoS, and both warbands are proper AoS units now meaning that Sylvaneth and OBR will have part of their range unavailable.

Could be that GW suffered from not having that many previews recently so they could have split a bit the things and got everything revealed closer to its launch?

Okay, how about this for a rumour based on apparent patterns in releases:

*Blacktalon revived her own six episode Warhammer+ series - During Dawnbringers a new novel and boxset based on their appearance in the series.

*Calis and Toll receives a Hammer and bolster episode - During Dawnbringers a new novel and boxset based on their appearance in the episode.

*Brand (Darkoath) receives a Hammer and Bolter episode - During Dawnbringers a new novel and boxset based on their appearance in the episode.

*Hamilcar receives a Hammer and Bolter episode - is currently the only Age of Sigmar character with a Warhammer+ animation not to have since received a new novel and miniature.

New Hamilcar novel and miniature confirmed! (In my dreams)

Who knows. It could be one of the newly released minis from the follow-up wave, but IMO, it's not very likely.

The most realistic or trueful rumors are usually just one item with maybe a few detail about them.

example: next battletome is Seraphon looks like it coming with 2 release boxes: Saurus Eternity warden and Saurus Guard.

the ones that tries to predicts a whole timeline of releases are usually the ones that are false

And on some occasions, we also have a decent chunky list of stuff, like with Warhound. His first message had to be edited by a mod because it contained some offensive stuff and even with that he aimed it all.

Taking it easy after a big release is not that uncommon so shrug

I know, but removing the duardins from CoS, the dwarven book sold over ebay... it was just looking like they were imminent.

    >claiming that the Underworlds warbands won't have rules is a leak after the indexes have already come out

    What a brave take.

But it would confirm that the future ones won't have a chance for AoS.

We all know the next edition will be Stormcast vs Space Marines and despite everyone hating it and complaining it will mysteriously be the best selling edition Games Workshop has made.

    Stormcast vs -40k Proto Marines.

The 5th edition corebox bit is particularly odd to claim in a supposed leak. I mean, I think it's actually a reasonably legit guess for what the 5th ed box antagonist will be, but just that - a guess. Slotting that claim in with everything else here sounds deeply suspect.

Yeah, they feel more like educated guesses.

The thing that throws me off is somehow being able to predict a delay that will happen next year.

I guess, considering how far in advance GW works, they will know already about that.

There are rumours that WoC will come after Dwarfs. If StD loses their chariot, Manticore and Chaos Lord on foot, I really hope there will be a replacement for these kits for StD.

There seems to be a pattern on the armie shown in the back of the arcane journals. If that's the case WoC are the next ones indeed.

The Chaos Lord and Chariot are in the Slaves to Darkness Spearhead though, aren't they? Surely that means that they're going to stick around for a little bit longer.

Or, I guess, they could get new sculpts.

It woulnd't be weird if S2D is one of the early BTs and they receive a new Spearhead box.

My only fear is that they do the same thing with Tau in 40k. Lore has a ton of diverse cool races (floating giant bears and kaiju), but the tabletop tells a different story.

Maybe I am just a fool, but I also think the rules and lore point towards the dwarfs being at least the Kroot for Cities. Dark elves and pirates are stuck there until they get their own factions and with Chaos dwarfs next that may be years.

I wouldn't mind if that the case. After hummies,  dawis are my favs.
