Quick question: @Whitefang/ @Whitefang back me up...do you think we're ever gonna be likely to see Doom Divers in AOS?

I've been excitedly waggling limbs at a Grom revamp (or spiritual successor), but had taken Whitefang's chariot laugh to mean "no", where others suggest this is positive 😅. Ahh, the wiles and whims of Whitefang reactions. On the pot-belly front, @zamerionsuggested this is a plaguebearer carrying a book for Warhammer Underworlds who has a literal pot in it's tummy. BUT! We do have a written response from Whitefang challenging mention of Gitmob grots being able to fit into small spaces, so we can't count out a grom gut 😁

Given Whitefang's laugh suggests we maybe won't see a chariot, maybe this is a chunky Gitmob for Underworlds?

I'd kind've homed in on the "Greenskins" part of this one and rather hoped it meant the (probably) Gitmob army box would pull heavily from WHFB. E.g., doom diver, chariots, catapults. But it's very vague. And I am very gobbo biased 😊 Speaking of which, I don't think it means we're getting elves. 'cos they don't smell right.

I'd completely forgotten that manticore had legged it over to TOW. Given the hard Chaos sell on WarCom it'd be a swell surprise to see more than a character mini for STD. Kinda figured Darkoath was gonna be their lot for a while :).

Must admit, both the Tzarketh and the "Bane of Law", is sounding more and more Tzeentchian. As the antithesis of law and order. Hopefully there's lots of "wibbly bits", just like in that classic art 🤞

In terms of scale it looks like it was up for $64 (in or around October), which plonks it in at just a little cheaper than Lauka Vai. This could be a big half king :). Or on a big beasty.

Ahh, I finished painting up a Realmgate a couple of years back and from memory the kit was fine. ...I did also build the Ophidian Archway around the same time, and that turned out "proper wonky". May be builder error, though

Well, I for one have high hopes we'll see those "Bat-Rats". But supreme disappointment if they're called anything else. PS - Intermittent lurker, first time poster. This forum and rumour thread is absolutely amazing. You're a lovely bunch, and every time I think I've spotted something or had some cunning insight, I come here and find you're five steps ahead. : )
